On January 28, a major announcement was made for the wrestling universe; Ronda Rousey, multiple UFC winner at Mixed Martial Arts, was going to train to become a professional competitor.
While this involved a few fans, there is a lot to be excited about!
While her acting may need to be improved (think of how the competitive universe will judge a person quickly, thanks to her dominance of the mic skills), there are many reasons to be optimistic and really, excited to see Ronda Rousey mostly women’s department ring.
Former Mixed Martial Arts fighters do well …
Mind you, if you mean to be a former Mixed Martial Arts fighter, this will be used to the advantage of Ronda Rousey. She really has fighting experience.
Her experience will be used towards actual performances in a ring. Just look at Brock Lesnar. He made the switch, and he hasn’t done too bad either, winning a competitive championship!
Is a huge fanbase!
A few short years ago, Ronda Rousey was the biggest draw of Mixed Martial Arts. It wasn’t fluke here, by design it was. She worked hard, and won games …
This means that its existing fan base will be transferred to the women ‘s department, where it is expected to bring in large crowds due to its presence. You have been warned.
It may be technically superior at certain movements …
Thanks to her debut Mixed Martial Arts, it goes without saying that Ronda Rousey may be technically superior to certain movements or current warring stars, as she has actual fighting experience. While this may not make too much of a difference in some cases (some movements are only made in warfare and not in Mixed Martial Arts), it is sure to add a particular advantage!
A legacy almost guaranteed to continue!
This was the one that worried a lot of people …
After a few losses, would she bounce back?
Well, as already mentioned, it was managed by Brock Lesnar and so was Ronda Rousey. She is a hard worker (that is to say) but she has the technical skill and consistency to get it out of her. Meaning but one thing … his legacy will continue!
Ronda Rousey will help draw large crowds, and will ensure that the women’s division continues to grow. And as the women’s division goes through a transition phase, this may be a perfect timing. Expect future multi-title championship belts.
