Lightweights Alexander Hernandez and Renato Moikano will aim for straight wins when they meet at UFC 271.
MMA JUNKIE was the first to announce the match, which will take place on February 12 at an as-yet-to-be-announced location.
Hernandez (13-4) will enter the fray after Mike Bryden’s sensational first-round knockout earlier this month. The 29-year-old has been hot and cold in the UFC since defeating Beneyl Dariush in his debut in 2018. Following this victory, he defeated Olivier Aubin-Mercier before losing to Donald Cerrone by TKO in the next fight. Including this crushing defeat, Hernandez has lost half of his last six fights.

Moikano (15-4-1) returned to victory in June by defeating Jay Herbert with a rear naked choke in the second round. The former 145-pound athlete moved up to lightweight last March with a 44-second submission victory over Damir Hadzovic. In December, Moikano lost to Rafael Fiziev by knockout in the first round.–The result, which the Brazilian later protested, called it an early stop.

With this fight added, here’s the updated pay-per-view lineup:
Douglas Silva de Andrade – Sergey Morozov
A.J. Dobson vs. Jacob Malkoon
Kyler Phillips vs. Marcelo Rojo
Alexander Hernandez vs. Renato Moikano
