Amanda Ribas vs. Angela Hill rescheduled for UFC Fight Night on June 5 – MMA Root

The strawweight fight between Amanda Ribas and Angela Hill soon found a new date.

Amanda Ribas will face Angela Hill on June 5 after their fight was called off just hours before UFC Vegas 26 was set to kick off last weekend. Their fight is expected to take place at UFC APEX in Las Vegas on a UFC Fight Night card. The news was initially reported by MMA journalist Marcel Dorff.

Just hours before the event began, Ribas was forced to withdraw from the contest after testing positive for COVID-19. However, the Brazilian expressed through her Instagram that she believed her case was a false positive after showing no symptoms.

Hill, on the other hand, expressed interest in Twitter to fight in two weeks, possibly May 22, however, with the recent news, it looks like he will have to wait a bit longer for his fight.
