Aviv Gozali Promises to Finish Bobby King in the First Round at Bellator 274

One of the most exciting prospects under the Bellator MMA banner is the return of his cage at Bellator 274 on Saturday when Aviv Gozali is expected to collide with him Bobby King in a three-round lightweight affair. At 21, Gozali (6-0) has already made the fastest submission in promotion history after heel hooking Eduard Muravitskiy 11 seconds into his Bellator 225 encounter. None of Gozali’s previous opponents survived more than a round, and The King promises his next opponent will meet the same fate.

“I’ll take him down in the first round,” Gozali told Sherdog. “He can try to block [my submission attempts], but he won’t be able to block them. I’m working with the best grappling guys in the world here and I feel better prepared than ever before a fight. Nothing can stop me now Nobody can stop me now.”

While Gozali recorded six first-round submissions in as many Cage appearances, the Israeli fighter believes he has only shown a fraction of his true potential. When asked if fans could expect him to KO sooner or later, he answered with just two words: Don’t blink.

“This is just my beginning,” he said. “To be honest you haven’t seen anything yet [of] what I’m capable of. I can do a lot more stuff than just subdue boys. I’m in the [beginning] my career.”

Gozali also spoke about the inauguration of the gym he founded with his father Haim Gozali. He revealed his dream of fighting for the Bellator belt in Israel next year, talked about his favorite submission technique and more.
