“The Ultimate Fighter” will return to the screens for the first time since 2018 and now we know the names of those who will fight for a UFC contract on the long-running reality show.
The Las Vegas-based promotion on Saturday revealed the bantamweight and middleweight stars for “TUF 29”, which will air on ESPN + on Tuesday, June 1st. Featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and current 1 contender Brian Ortega will act as rival coaches at the show before the square with championship gold on the line later.
The bantamweight lineup is an experienced team featuring the seeds of Dana White’s Contender series, Vince Murdock and Ricky Turcios, as well as former M-1 Global and World Series of Fighting title challenger Joshua Rettinghouse. The 135-pound roster can also boast of the youngest fighter on the cast, with 21-year-old Brady Hiestand.
The lightweight team does not have enough of the same veteran presence, but includes Miles Hunsinger, who is undefeated in seven fights with appearances in the Legacy Fighting Alliance and the Professional Fighters League, and six-time Bellator MMA rival Kemran Lachinov .
