Brad Riddell vs. Rafael Fiziev In The Works For Dec. 4 Fight Night Card – MMA Root



The easy fight between two elite strikers Brad Riddell and Rafael Fiziev will soon be over.

On December 4, Riddell will face Fiziev in a thrilling light match on the Fight Night map. MMA Junkie was the first to announce the match. According to anonymous sources, a verbal agreement was reached between the two teams. The venue and venue are unknown; however, it is expected to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The UFC has yet to make an official announcement.

Both are considered to be very promising and growing lightweight fighters, and each victory could propel them into the top 10 to challenge the bigger names in the near future. Renowned for their thrilling punching style, both fighters are fan favorites as they are guaranteed to deliver action-packed combat.

Brad Riddell (10-1), currently ranked 12th in the lightweight division, has yet to lose in UFC promotions with four straight wins over Jamie Mallarkey, Magomed Mustafayev, Alex da Silva Coelho and most recently against Drew. Dober.

Riddell was born in the famous City Kickboxing gym and last competed at UFC 263 back in June when he defeated Dober by unanimous decision. Riddell hopes to emulate the success of his UFC middleweight champion teammate Israel Adesanya.

Rafael Fiziev (10-1) last fought at UFC 265 in August against Bobby Green, in which the Kazakh fighter won by unanimous decision. Currently, in a series of four victories, Fiziev has defeated the likes of Alex White, Mark Diakise and Renato Moikano.

Fiziev has not lost since his UFC promo debut in April 2019, in which he was defeated by TKO to Riddell’s common opponent Magomed Mustafayev. After the defeat, Fiziev did not look back and hopes to continue his impressive winning streak.

The December 4th lineup currently includes:

  • Alex Perez vs. Matt Schnell
  • Claudio Puelles vs. Chris Grütsemacher
  • Rafael Fiziev vs. Brad Riddell
