Broken Collarbone Forces Darren Till Out of UFC on ABC 2 Headliner – MMA Root

Darren Till has suffered a broken neck during training and will not be able to face Marvin Vettori at the UFC ABC 2 as originally scheduled.

Until he announces the news in a post on his Instagram account on Tuesday

“I was [sitting] here for some good hours discussing how to say this [and] I put into words what I feel [and] I’m just going to say it straight … I CAN DO MY COLLABON! “I am out of my fight next week against Marvin,” Till wrote. “Everybody around me or around me knows that I train every day with my knees, lower back, shoulders, arms and the list goes on.

“Yesterday, while I was drilling, I fell and I immediately knew that I was going to break something. To say that I was devastated by this is derogatory. I literally put my heart, soul, mind, physical body, cash, diet, sleep, recovery [and] after a few to make sure i went there there next week [and] he pulled out his head. And I was 100 percent sure that I would … and easily !!! I’m sure he thought the same but ah … “

According to many reports, Kevin Holland has agreed to face Vettori in the short term, but it is unclear at this time whether the new middleweight bout will be finalized for the April 10 event. The UFC on ABC 2 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and the main card is shown on ABC and ESPN + from 3 p.m. ET / noon PT. The qualifiers start at noon ET / 9 p.m. PT on ESPN and ESPN +.

“I’m sorry [Marvin
Vettori]”I hope you get a new opponent and we can do that soon in the future, I respect you very much as a competitor.
