Bryan Battle vs. Tresean Gore Targeted for UFC Event on Feb. 5
The initial pair for the middleweight finals of “The Ultimate Fighter 29” is expected to fall early next year, as Bryan Battle joins Tresean Gore on February 5th.
MMAjunkie.com was the first to report the booking. Gore was forced to retire from their UFC fight at ESPN 30 on August 28 after suffering a knee injury. UFC Fight Night does not yet have an official location or headliner.
With Gore out, Battle won the “TUF 29” crown with the submission of Gilbert Urbina in the second round of the event. The man known as “Pooh Bear” won five consecutive outings as he heads to Octagon’s second appearance.
Gore was a 3-0 professional before his tenure in “TUF 29”, where he defeated Ryder Newman and Urbina to reach the middleweight finals before being derailed from the aforementioned injury. Gore is anchored in the American Top Team Atlanta.
