Conor McGregor details his future fighting plans in live #AskNotorious Q&A – MMA Root

It didn’t take long for Dustin Poirier to return to the gym after his big knockout win over Conor McGregor at UFC 257. McGregor? Well, you’ve been enjoying the finer things in life, which we assume should come as no surprise when you consider that you are not just a millionaire, but a centimillionaire (and perhaps within reach of becoming a legitimate billionaire in the next few years) .

So McGregor’s Instagram is littered with photos of “The Notorious” enjoying life in Dubai, shopping for jewelry and pimp with his Proper 12 whiskey, which gave him another nine-figure sum in a recent deal. We do not mean to imply that you are not training at all; There are also photos of him exercising, running, and biking. But Conor is not in camp for his UFC 264 rematch with Poirier on June 12. Poirier? We are not sure that he will ever truly leave a camp state.

It all raises questions about how ready McGregor will be for the fight … which makes it lucky that “The Notorious” is answering questions from fans on Twitter using the hashtag #AskNotorious.

Since it is currently 3:30 a.m. M. In Dubai, we don’t know how long it will last. But Conor is there mixing it up and giving some interesting answers at 7:30 PM EST (Sunday, May 9). We even have a question there (because we know what keeps McG up at night).

McGregor’s goals here are pretty clear – he plans to beat Poirier and then challenge for the light strap. He also talks about fighting more at 170 and cementing his GOAT status by becoming a two-time champion. That means a shot against the welterweight champion, but McGregor also said he’s close enough to 155 to gain weight in a week. Does that put you within the featherweight hitting range as well?

We will update the thread as McGregor answers more questions.
