Conor McGregor Reveals Exact Total Of UFC 257 PPV Buys – MMA Root

Conor McGregor took to Twitter on Monday with proof of the exact number of PPV purchases received from UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor 2. You can check the post below.

The final UFC 257 “Collected Claims” amount is 1,504,737, making it one of the two most-bought PPV events of the year, with the other PPV also featuring Poirier and McGregor, July’s UFC 264.

There are currently two more pay-per-view sessions planned for 2021. The upcoming UFC 267 event, titled by Jan Blachovic and Glover Teixeira, is not expected to become a PPV. The next PPV will be UFC 268, headlined by Kamaru Usman vs. Colby Covington II, and a rematch for the light heavyweight title between Rose Namajunas (v) and Zhang Weili, as well as the highly anticipated lightweight badger between Justin Getji and Michael Chandler.

The 1.5 is not too far behind the UFC 264 score released in July, but according to Sports Business Journal’s John Urand, UFC 264 ranks first.

“UFC ratings show just under 1.8 million PPV purchases worldwide,” Orand wrote about UFC 264. Dana White said this at a press conference at the end of the event. I was told that 500,000 of those purchases were from overseas, which means that ESPN + has registered about 1.3 million purchases. ”

It is only at some point in 2022 that McGregor will return with yet another blockbuster event as he is currently recovering from leg surgery following an injury sustained in connection with his trilogy fight against Poirier at UFC 264.
