Another talented competitor Invicta Fighting Championships has gathered to compete in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

On Wednesday, Sportskeeda reported that Erin Blanchfield (6-1) will play in the UFC for the first time, replacing Bea Malecki against Norma Dumont (5-1). ESPN
Both Blanchfield confirmed the news on Thursday, with Blanchfield advancing to the UFC bantamweight division on ABC 2. The flyweight career will air on April 10 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

The Invicta show has recovered from the first loss of its career in 2019 – a defeat by Tracy Cortez – ending with Gabriella Gulfin and Victoria Leonardo. Most recently, “Cold Blooded” reached a unanimous verdict for Brogan Walker-Sanchez in July 2020. The suspension of current UFC fighter Leonardo came from a head, beating Blanchfield at that time the fifth knockout in history of Invicta. Each of the 21-year-old’s previous periods has been in the flyweight division.

The former featherweight Dumont fell to 135 pounds after a resounding knockout loss to Megan Anderson in early 2020. Although Dumont failed to reach the 136 pound mark with a wide margin in its final outing, it prevailed by making a decision about Ashlee Evans-Smith in November. “The Immortal” entered the offer with a new 4-0 record, and both of its finishes had come from the first round of naked drowning.

There is still no headliner for the second project on the ABC network for the UFC. The UFC title at ABC 2 will be on April 10 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and while Marvin Vettori is looking for a dance partner, other interesting matches include Sodiq Yusuff vs. Arnold Allen at featherweight and Kyle Daukias vs. Khyle Alukizkhab. in the medium weight section.
