‘I never hit my fiancé, my daughters didn’t see or hear us arguing’

Former UFC lightweight champion Jon Jones posted a series of tweets Wednesday to “clarify” what happened between him and his finisher, Jessie Moses, when he was arrested in Las Vegas.

Jones was arrested and charged with domestic violence and assault or trespassing on September 24 at the Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino. Details of his arrest emerged after the police report was released, as well as the sound of Jones’ detention.

In the report, Moses claimed that Jones “touched the back of my head and pulled my hair a little, but it didn’t hit me or anything.” She said Jones grabbed her as she tried to “try to leave the room”. Police noticed “dried blood on the bottom of her lip as if in a physical altercation.”

Cesars Palace security called police after Moses went to the security office asking for a key to her hotel room. The guard noticed that there was blood on her clothes and her lip. The report states that Moses became emotional and said he was afraid to return to her room. One of Jones’ daughters asked security: “Can you call the cops?”

Jones denied that he stole his money and repeated it on Wednesday. He also stated that his daughters were asleep during the dispute between him and Moses and did not see or hear him arguing.

“I love the way people imagine the worst possible situation in their minds and make it somewhat real. I never hit my fiancé and our daughters woke up after our confrontation. “My daughters did not see or hear us arguing,” Jones wrote on Twitter.

“That’s the only thing I’m interested in clarifying … other than that, I can’t wait to go without alcohol. It’s the first time in my life where I’m really ready to quit. “I’m glad to have the support of my fiancé, family friends and fans,” Jones added in a second tweet.
