Jake Paul Reveals MMA Weight Class, Ignores White’s Cease-Fire – MMA Root

Jake Paul, the often polarized YouTuber-turned-boxer, is keeping UFC President Dana White off the hook for his previous remarks.

White recently mentioned that he was done with his conversations with Paul on social media and in interviews. However, Paul doesn’t seem to be done with White yet.

Paul hinted at a future move to MMA after a few more boxing fights and allegedly contacted the American Kickboxing Academy to train there. It is reported that promotions such as Bellator and PFL are interested in Paul’s services.

Despite White’s calls for a ceasefire between him and Paul, Problem Child is unwilling to comply, as the evidence suggests. in a recent tweet.

“[Dana White] when I make my MMA debut, I can drop 20 pounds and do it at welterweight/170 pounds,” Paul said. “This is what all UFC fighters do and many of them have destroyed their bodies and minds doing it. But I’m going to do it at middleweight (185 pounds). Health first. PS Conor [McGregor] walk at 190.

Paul ended his stellar 2021 boxing calendar with consecutive victories over former UFC champion Tyron Woodley. Last spring, he also knocked out former UFC welterweight Ben Askren in seconds.

Paul criticized White and the UFC for their treatment of fighters. He specifically focused on the issue of paying fighters as the main thing in his work outside the ring.

The drama of White and Paul seemed to subside for a while, but it didn’t take long for Paul to shoot his combat sports opponent.
