Jon Jones, like many others in the MMA community, has seen enough of Joshua Fabia.
Yesterday, a video surfaced of an unorthodox training session between the recently released Diego Sánchez and his coach / manager / coach Joshua Fabia. Part of the session included Sánchez hanging upside down being kicked and hit on the head by Fabia. Such methods were understandably considered bizarre, to say the least, and UFC legend Jon Jones is among those who have a say in the matter. You can watch the video along with Jones’ reaction below.
“I am speechless, really upset. As a person who used to know Diego, this is the last thing you need, ”Jones wrote.
Jon Jones and Diego Sánchez were longtime teammates on Jackson Wink MMA prior to Sánchez’s departure from the gym. Sánchez is currently not affiliated with any professional MMA gym, but has committed to training solely with Joshua Fabia, which includes the following unconventional dungeon sessions shown in the video above.
When Jon Jones was arrested for DWI last year, Diego Sánchez was the one to criticize. Sanchez labeled the great light heavyweight “Bill Fuckin ‘Cosby Jones” and went on to call Jones a fake man with a fake following. In this case, however, Jones does not seem to be criticizing Sánchez directly, but Fabia. Frankly, you are not the first person to do so; And if more videos like this keep popping up, it certainly won’t be the last.
Does your reaction to the Diego Sánchez / Joshua Fabia “training” video match that of Jon Jones?
