A bantamweight bout by Julia Avila against Julija Stoliarenko has been booked again at UFC Fight Night 190 on June 26.
Stoliarenko announced the fight via social media. Avila and Stoliarenko were originally squared on March 20, but the match was canceled after Stoliarenko fainted on the scales. UFC Fight Night 190 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and leads a major clash between Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov.
Avila had a winning streak of four fights on their last trip when they made a unanimous decision to Sijara Eubanks at UFC Fight Night 177 on September 12th. “Raging Panda” started its advertising career with victories over Gina Mazany and Pannie Kianzad. The 32-year-old also has significant triumphs against Nicco Montano and Marion Reneau on the regional stage.
A native of Kauna, Lithuania, Stoliarenko fell for Yana Kunitskaya by unanimous decision in her second appearance at the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 174 on August 8. Her debut, a setback against the decision against Leah Letson in the finale of “The Ultimate Fighter 28”, came almost two years earlier. The 27-year-old had won five consecutive seasons in various organizations before meeting Kunitskaya.
