Nate Diaz Responds to McGregor’s Steroid Accusations With Some Advice – MMA Root

Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor continue their feud on social media, and this time the companies are involved.

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz have a long history together. Ever since they were paired at UFC 196 in 2016, they have had a taste for calling each other. Despite a third fight between the two being promised, the trilogy fight has yet to come to fruition. However, that doesn’t stop these two fighters from badmouthing each other at any chance they get. Recently, McGregor and Diaz began exchanging opinions on Twitter, this time about steroid use.

“‘Everybody’s on Steroids’ – Steroid User Nathan Diaz,” McGregor wrote on Twitter after a call to UFC Senior Vice President of Athlete Health and Performance Jeff Novitzky. Novitzky is the face of the UFC drug testing program. McGregor feels the failed tests should be known to the public and blamed Diaz’s fake test against UFC 244 for the secrecy reason.

There was more back and forth between Diaz and McGregor about the McGregor conditioning system that he put in place called McGregor Fast. Next, Diaz took aim at McGregor and his fitness program.

“@TheNotoriousMMA so I brought McGregor to life quickly and you didn’t use him against Mayweather kabob or DP. You’re supposed to learn and grow in this game. The grasshopper doesn’t stay screwed the same way as a rookie.” Diaz wrote.

“I’m writing a Diaz conditioning system to show how it’s really done anyway and shit on this stupid ass. Gregor, quick shit, this jerk, just copy all my moves anyway, trying to get on a bike, swim and shit.. Bruh, you don’t know what the hell you’re doing. ” Diaz continued.

Diaz has always been in conditioning for his fights. He rides his bike often and participates in triathlons. After the loss to McGregor at UFC 202, many thought a third fight would be the next step for Diaz, but instead, he fought Anthony Pettis and then Jorge Masvidal. Perhaps this rekindled fire between these two could be setting up the trilogy for later this year after McGregor takes on Dustin Poirier in the summer.
