The Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight title will be on the line as the main event of UFC 260 is now official after the evenings.

As expected, both Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou gained weight without any problems, as they both fell below the 265 pound mark. However, there will be quite a difference, as Ngannou weighed 29 kg heavier than the champion. The other scales were not as dramatic as Fabio Cherant and Jared Gooden initially came in at half a kilo heavy for their respective fights. Gaden weighed in on his second attempt, while Cherand chose not to stop again.

Having spent the last two years preparing and fighting Daniel Cormier, Miocic (20-3) is ready to start a new chapter in his heavyweight kingdom. The 38-year-old faces another well-known enemy in Ngannou (15-3), as he did “The Predator” to win a decision in January 2018. Miocic climbed the ladder with a weight of 234 kg.

The most feared knockout artist in the division, Ngannou has won his last three fights in less than three minutes. “The Predator” started beating former champions Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez and contenders Curtis Blaydes and Jairzinho Rozenstruik for their current victory. Ngannou seemed prepared for the second shot in the UFC gold and officially weighed 263 kg, like the first time he met Miocic.

The UFC 260 Master Card will be on ESPN + pay-per-view from 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT. The selected qualifying action will take place on ESPN and ESPN + starting at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, while the first fight of the night will be shown on ESPN + and UFC Fight Pass at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4: 30 p.m. PT.
