5 fighters parted ways with the largest MMA organization in the world. As reported by MMA Junkie, which has been confirmed by many sources, the cooperation with “Ultimate Fighting Championship” has ended Anthony Birchak, Aalon Cruz, Jordan Griffin, Ray Rodriguez and Luke Sanders.
Birchak (16-8 MMA) lost two fights after his second engagement in the UFC, and his overall balance in the organization is 2-4. In the final match he was knocked out by Tony Gravely in the second round of the match. It is worth noting that he accepted the last two fights shortly in advance.
Cruz (8-4 MMA) joined the organization after a brilliant win at DWCS by Flying Knee, after losing two fights in the UFC Octagon. The 31-year-old had two defeats by TKO / KO.
Griffin (18-9 MMA) also earned a contract with the UFC in the DWCS win. In the cage of the organization, however, he did not do well – his fights balance is 1-4. In the last duel, he lost to Luis Saldana due to a controversial referee decision.
Rodriguez (16-8 MMA) lost his UFC debut in 39 seconds to Brian Kelleher. In the second match he was subjected to BJJ specialist Rani Yaha.
Sanders (13-5 MMA) fought in the organization’s octagon 8 times, and his fights are 3-5. He has won prizes from, among others, Maximo Blanco or Renan Barao. In the last duel, he lost to Felipe Colares. The 35-year-old thus ended his contract with the UFC and became a free agent.
