If all goes well, the return of the Ultimate Fighting Championship to the Toyota Center in Houston will include a range of 15 races.
The Las Vegas Promotion announced the finalized card for the May 15 event, including a pair of new lightweight games: Lando Vannata vs. Mike Grundy and Kevin Aguilar vs. Tucker Lutz.
UFC 262 will take place at the Toyota Center without restrictions on the crowd. The event is organized by a clash between Michael Chandler and Charles Oliveira over the vacant title, while Leon Edwards and Nate Diaz will take part in a non-title round. You can see the lineup for the whole card here.
Vannata went 1-1 in 2020 and lost by a loss to Bobby Green in a rematch on UFC Fight Night 173. Grundy, meanwhile, had a nine-game winning streak at UFC on ESPN 14, where he threw a round verdict at Movsar Evloev.
After winning his first two appearances at the Octagon, Aguilar fell three in a row, falling to Dan Ige, Zubaira Tukhugov and Charles Rosa. Lutz will make his promotional debut after winning a pair of Dana White’s Contender Series to make his professional mark at 11-1
