Tyron Woodley’s mixed martial arts run is far from over. Former Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight champion Woodley (19-7-1) has recently turned his focus to boxing after fighting his way out of his UFC contract. The Chosen One has met YouTube sensation and entrepreneur Jake Paul twice, suffering back-to-back losses. Now Woodley returns to MMA as an expert panel member for the upcoming Professional Fighters League Challenger Series. Speaking to Sherdog, Woodley drew a comparison between what fans saw during the final Super Bowl halftime show and the PFL judges’ intent: find the next big star and give them the right platform to shine.
