UFC, Bellator vet Curtis Millender fights Rory MacDonald in PFL headliner on April 29 – MMA Root

Rory MacDonald will now face Curtis Millender at the PFL regular season event on April 29 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, after original opponent David Michaud was ejected from the welterweight headliner with a boom ticker.

That’s according to MMA Junkie.

Millender (18-6) parted ways with the UFC in early 2019 after losing back-to-back fights to Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos and Belal Muhammad. What followed was a 1-1 season for Bellator MMA and a recent loss to fellow UFC export partner Sabah Homasi.

“$ 1 million nuf said,” Millender wrote on social media.

Like his opponent “Curtious”, MacDonald (21-6-1) is also passing from Bellator MMA. “Red King,” fresh from a decision loss to Douglas Lima, had a less-than-spectacular streak for Scott Coker and Co., going 3-2 with a draw.
