UFC welterweight fighter Alan Jouban has announced his retirement from the sport

38-year-old Alan Jouban decided to end his adventure with performances in the MMA cage. The competitor, who also acts as an analyst at the gala of the largest MMA organization in the world, “Ultimate Fighting Championship”, announced his retirement from sports. Jouban posted an entry on his social media in which he thanks his coaches and says goodbye to the performances in the cage.

I would like to officially retire from my sport. Fighting and the UFC gave me everything I have today! I wouldn’t change one thing during this trip because I got the chance to live my dreams and I don’t know what awaits me.

My coaches, sparring partners, those who were part of it all – I really appreciate you! Thank you to my fans and even to my rivals. The injuries, my age and my life have shown me that it is time. If I can’t do my best then I won’t fight at all.

Jouban (17-7 MMA) defeated Jared Gooden in his final fight via unanimous referee decision at UFC 255 in November 2020. His record of fights in the UFC octagon is 8-5. At that time, he was winning against, among others Belal Muhammad, Mike Perry or Ben Saunders. The competitor also dealt with modeling during his career – he cooperated with, among others Versace. 11 out of 17 victories in his career the player won by knocking out his rivals.
