Uriah Hall says Darren Till ‘really scared to fight me,’ Till responds
Uriah Hall has his own reasons why he believes his next fight was not against Darren Till, but Till definitely disagrees.
Hall is due to fight Andre Muniz at the UFC event on April 16, but has made numerous calls to fight Till on social media. In a recent interview with The Schmo, the No. 12 middleweight in the global MMA Fighting rankings felt that Till was not so motivated to sign the dotted line.
“I wanted Darren Till, but he’s just a punk bitch,” Hall said. “I don’t know what happened, if he plays in the UFC or something else, but he is the kind of guy that makes sense.
“I wanted him, but I think he’s just scared. I think he’s really scared, or that, or he’s hurt, or something like that. He always makes excuses. That’s how I look at him, he’s talking nonsense, but I know that when I stand in front of him, he will shut up. So I know that I can beat him, I just know that I can beat him. He’s short, he sucks, he’s ugly, and I just know I can kick his ass.”
Till, of course, is not one of those who stand aside and allow another fighter to defame his name. The #11 global MMA Fighting fighter tweeted on Saturday to clear things up from his perspective.
@UriahHallMMA brother brother brother brother, did you just give an interview saying that I’m afraid of you? I moved up to middleweight and immediately fought the top two middleweights Gastelum and Whittaker.
I have never turned down a fight in WW or MW.

Hall recently ended his four-fight winning streak with Sean Strickland in the main event of UFC Vegas 33 this past July. Till has lost his last two fights and is 1-4 in his last five matches. In his last fight, Till was submitted by Derek Brunson in the third round of the main event at September’s UFC Vegas 36.
Till added a final reply to Hall on Monday morning.
