Valentina Shevchenko looks to defend her flyweight title once again this Saturda…

Valentina Shevchenko is looking to defend her flyweight title again this Saturday against former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade. Shevchenko is perhaps one of the most dominant champions in the UFC right now. Since her controversial decision loss to Amanda Nunes in 2017, she has achieved 6 straight wins and shows no signs of slowing down. I’m struggling to name any women who could defeat her right now. Andrade will probably want to take down Valentina, which is where she could be most successful in this fight. But I don’t see her doing it easily. I think she’ll just come forward and eat punches for 5 rounds. It’ll be interesting if she can get Valentina up against the fence, but again I think she’ll have a hard time keeping her there. Here, too, you should take into account the size difference. Andrade has spent most of his career at strawweight while Shevchenko has previously competed at bantamweight. The champion has a clear advantage in this department. How do you think this one is going?
