Marvin Vettori and Paulo Costa could both be sidelined shortly after headling five rounds at UFC Fight Night 196 last Saturday.
Vettori defeated Costa by unanimous decision in a lightweight bout at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The fight, which was originally scheduled to take place in the middleweight division, was moved to 205 pounds when Costa revealed that he could not gain weight.
Vettori must have x-rays of both arms and an MRI of his right knee. If he is positive, he must get a doctor’s leave otherwise he will be out of action until April 22.
