UFC Vegas Bonus 24: Whittaker vs. Gastelum Lands in Fight of the Night
Officials announced the bonus of UFC Vegas 24 on Saturday night, with the main fighters Robert Whittaker and Kelvin Gastelum receiving the Fight of the Night distinctions Apart from the Fight of the Night, the results did not let them guess who would win the bonuses.
Out of the 10 races, there were only two finals. The two winning fighters brought home the Performance of the Night odds.
UFC Vegas 24 Fight of the Night: Robert Whittaker vs. Kelvin Gastelum
Robert Whitker put himself in a position to challenge UFC welterweight champion Israel Adesanya with little to no say that he should not be next for the title.
Whittaker won a five-round unanimous decision, but only after a tough battle with Gastelum. Whittaker had the upper hand, but whenever he seemed to get out of the fight, Gastelum would counterattack.
But in the end, Whittaker scored his third consecutive victory since losing the title to Adesanya, winning his way back to the belt. Gastel, however, lost the fourth of his last five bouts, putting him in a precarious position in the division.

UFC Vegas 24 Performance of the Night: Gerald Meerschaert
Gerald Meerschaert recovered from back-to-back losses to Ian Heinisch and Khamzat Chimaev with a quick win over Bartosz Fabiński. He finished the race with a guillotine drowning at the 2:00 minute mark of the first round.

UFC Vegas 24 Performance of the Night: Tony Gravely
Making his third UFC start, Tony Gravely opened the UFC Vegas 24 race card with a second round of TKO at the end of Anthony Birchack, who lost his second consecutive race since returning to the Octagon last year.
